2026 Guidelines for Photo Contest - they have changed from previous years:
- Photos must be taken in our Lake Mead National Park and must be original (unadulterated: touch-ups, color correction and cropping are acceptable)
- Submitted Photos must have been taken in the previous year of the contest (Jan 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026: no photos from years ago! and no previously submitted photos)
- Resolution should be as high as possible (ultimate size for printing: 5MB+, 5184 X 3456 pixels)
- Each contestant may submit one entry per category.
- Categories:
- Lake & Landscapes
- Sunrises & Sunsets
- Flora & Fauna
- People & Pets
- There will be a first place awarded for each category - prizes TBD
- Prints of the winners will be displayed in the Village Library.
- Each winner will receive a framed print of their photo.
- Winners will be announced at the Bye Bye Birdy event in 2026
WHEN SUBMITTING, PLEASE, PUT IN THE SUBJECT LINE “PHOTO CONTEST 2026 SUBMISSION - YOUR NAME”
AND IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE NAME YOUR PHOTOS WITH YOUR NAME.
MAKE SURE, IN THE BODY OF YOUR EMAIL, THERE IS YOUR FULL NAME, PHONE NUMBER AND YOUR PAD #, SO WE CAN CONTACT YOU.
